Hello Everyone :-)

Hi Caitriona

Your right first chapter was meant to give a background history on the Inu family. The second chapter is meant to address the current time in the Feudual era which is Rins birthday. I plan on this story being a lot longer and I will bring the first two chapters together when I write a few other chapters. I just haven't gotten around to it yet due to the fact that I am working on my other stories. And I don't want to reveal anything just yet. Sorry for the delay!!!

Happy Holidays Everyone,

Hi Again,

I just forgot to mention that more of the Inu history will be revealed throughtout the story. I didn't want to reveal everything up front. So don't worry, the first chapter will be expanded, but it will be told throught the story:-)

Take Care,

The first chapter is a great idea. It has a lot of wonderful background for Sess and his family with intrigue, action, murder, and lost love, but it seems to be more of an outline for a larger story than anything else. I want to read that story--see the pain in the older Inu's eyes as his only surviving pup starves while surrounded by food, smell the fires when the Inugami destroy their creators, hear the arguments between the Inugami parents as time passes and the appologies when the father becomes closer to the humans. I hope you take this chapter and expand it as much as it deserves to be expanded.

The second chapter almost seems like another story entirely. It isn't bad. I actually really liked the recurrent theme of the cherry blossoms in the gifts of the Inu-tatchi. Perhaps it is just that you haven't written the 3rd chapter which brings it all together.

I look forward to reading more of this when you write more.
