I like it, well done and a good idea. I only have one pointer for you.. there were a few places where you switched tenses from present to past and then back again.
ex.: 'Inuyasha growls and grumbled his entire way to the old tree in his forest.' 'growls' and 'grumbled' are in opposite tenses. In this case it should either be 'growled and grumbled' or 'growls and grumbles.'
A small difference I know... but sometimes it can make things confusing for your readers. just something to watch for ^^.
