....I hope you don't mind me giving you a few suggestions but it seems as if your story idea was taken directally out of my mind. I'm quite sure you are not planning on having Kagome die in this fic, and you are going to use the blood bond to some extent to remedy her current situation. However, what I would like to see (if you care to go this route) is the blood bond used in a not so common way. Yes if each mate echanges blood they become bound for life, but (here's my idea) if a human were to take in an abnormal (a lot) amount of either a youkai or hanyou,s blood they themselves would become a hanyou. Due to the unique properties in InuYasha's blood, if Kagome were to take in more than the usual amount during mating, his blood would work its way through her system slowly changing her (which should take more than one day of her being bedridden) into a hanyou giving her the ability to rid her system of any ailments.
Anyway, this was a great first chapter, very clear and consice. Perfect chapter length as well. I hope you can drag this story out for at lest 15 chapters if not 20 (longer the better). Oh, and please do NOT make this into one of those fics were InuYasha and Kagome both just come out and say "I love you" and then fuck. That is one sure way to ruin a story.
Can't wait for the next update, so far you're writting one hell of a good story.
