Ohhhhh I absolutely LOVE your work! I just can't wait for the next chapter....I'm anxious to see how long you can continue the tension between Kagome, Sesshomaru, and Inuyasha and how you resolve it. Keep it up, you have me on the edge of my seat!

That's no fair...Inuyasha interferred after his father said not to...There should be consequences on his part. I'm hating Inuyasha now...He needs to get over it. The other three should have told her Inuyasha was baiting him. With those three, they are never going to let anything happen between Kagome and Sesho. I wanted to cry for him. Please let things get better between Sesho and Kagome real soon. I'm getting tired of Inuyasha real quick.
Oh yeah...LOVED THE CHAPTER UPDATE...Your creativity is why I love your stories so much. You are great!

Listen, there are a few things I have to say. I've been reading this story for a while now and you're a fantastic writer. I've really enjoyed this story, but there is one thing that's really starting to piss me off: it seems like you're not taking this story anywhere. Every time Sesshomaru takes one step forward, he takes two steps back in the process, when it's not even his fault. For me, it's making Kagome out to look like a bitch since she never even attempts to understand the situations Sess gets himself into. She just automatically takes Inu's side every time, without even asking what happened. I'm starting to hate Kagome because of it, which I'm sure is not your intention. I'm also starting to hate her friends, who won't even tell her the truth about the situation, like when Inu provoked Sess into biting his arm. I'm starting to think you're making it ridiculously hard for Sess just so you can have an extremely long story, that so far does not need to be told in over twenty chapters. The story doesn't seem to be going anywhere at all, and I'm getting fed up with it. If all you give is drama, drama, drama, and no results, how am I supposed to stay engaged in the plot? The whole story is about how Sess needs to get his relationship with Kag up and running, but all you've done the entire time is make their relationship worse. I started reading this story, hoping I would see the relationship with Kag and Sess develop, but nothing's happened, and it's been over twenty chapters already. Am I supposed to wait another twenty chapters for them to even have a somewhat civil conversation? I had hoped that now that Sess's beast has come into the picture, I would start to see at least something develop, but you destroyed that by him biting Inu's arm, which just makes me despise Inu and his friends. I really loved this story at the beginning, but now it's just making me angry and making me hate everyone (including Kags) except Sess. I hope you start to take the plot somewhere else besides: Sess tries to get Kag to like him, Kag begins to like him, Inu fucks it all up and makes it worse for Sess, repeat cycle. I'm sorry to be saying this. You can yell at me in your next AN, and other readers can disagree and bash me in their reviews, but it's just what I feel.

I read the passage you wrote at the end of Ch 22 (currently your latest chapter) and I must admit that it made me very guilty. Now, I don't hate or dislike anything about your story. In fact I love it, I check my computer at least twice a day (once in the morning, once at night) just to see if you've updated. However that you are getting those kinds of reviews bothers me because it seems that they're affecting you more than the good reviews are. That and I haven't reviewed at all. So here's something I hope will make you feel better and put them from your mind...
You're story is wonderful, I don't think I can reiterate this enough.
I'm anxious to have them finally get together, very much so. I think everyone who reads this is, just so Sesshoumaru won't die and so they can have their happy ending. However, I'm never dissatisfied with a new chapter when you post it. I will admit that I've read each chapter from top to bottom about three times each. Every time it puts me at the edge of my seat, cursing at Sesshoumaru for his idiocy, feel embarrassed for him when he can't 'get it up', or yelling at Kagome's boys for some stupid thing I know they're about to do, sighing in relief when they stop fighting each other to protect her. That you can make a reader react like that is, to me, a sign of a great author. The way you write everything is utterly brilliant.
The past chapters, I think, are completely necessary. I don't think I would be able to understand this story were they not there. Especially why Miroku, Bankotsu, and Inu-Yasha get along so well (and I'm very much hoping to find out about Shippou's introduction to the little group soon!), I'd think they'd be tearing each other to pieces within an hour. It's also been a great way to see how much Sesshoumaru has been suffering (personally, I would have scoffed if I hadn't that information, thinking that Sesshoumaru was too strong for something like that) and to see how much he loved -obsessed over- Kagome. The absence of these chapters would detract from the story instead of making it better.
I hope that this has made up for my lack of reviewing (though I'm sure if I never said anything you would have never known) and please know that I'm an avid reader and fan who awaits (semi) patiently for your chapters and any other story that leaps into your imagination. (I squealed like a little girl when I saw 'Love Bites' go up. Honest to God, no lying. I scared the crap out of my dog.)
Also, please remember that, while you get many negative reviews, I'd bet you my life that there's three times as many people out there who love your work and wouldn't change a thing about them. But... they're very much like I am and are too idiotic to remember to leave a kind word or two.
Please keep up the good work, and know that, while we are unfortunately silent, we are still here adoring you.
Please Regard Me Kindly,
I Agree
P.S. I bet you've recieved a hell of a lot of reviews about that last passage! ;)

I love the past chapters too, like you said, they add color and background, and they're as fun to read as you said they are to write. Don't stop, I'm following this story closely both on AFF and MM. (I think it's MM) Boy, Inu sure is pissy about this, can't say I blame him, Sess does treat him like shit, so I can't say that Sess doesn't deserve the tongue lashing Kagome gave him. As much as I love Inu, and I do love him first and best, Sess is just SSSSSSSOOOOOO HHHHOOOOOOOOOTTTTTT. If only he had those ears, but then, if he had those ears, alot of people would be in serious trouble. Maybe it's a good thing these two are Anime. If they were real, It would be Troy All Over Again.

I think that I might love this chapter more than any other so far! Oh wow, the vampire image was perfect for Sesshomaru and he actually got to spend some time with Kagome. It was so sweet! I also loved how the guys tried to run him off, but Kagome didn't let them. Too bad he was so sure she would have turned her back on him if she knew who he really was. Personally, I think he missed the perfect opportunity to tell her how he felt. But hey, then we wouldn't have this story, would we? lol! As for your issues with certain reviewers, well, just ignore them as best you can. This IS a great story, and I love the way you have it set up - going back into the past in one chapter and then to the future in the next. It is a refreshing difference and allows us to feel closer to the characters as we understand their stories and connection to Kagome and Sesshomaru. In fact, I had even recommended the story to my beta, Risa, FOR that exact reason. People that fuss about it are just being impatient and childish. It is what makes the story unique and I am glad that you are sticking to your guns. As for the updating...HA! You update faster than most people. WAY faster than me. My chapters are longer, but I am writing a completely different kind of story than this one. Personally, I think the chapters are a very nice length for this type of story. When I see an update, I find myself thinking back to the previous chapter and whether it took place in the past or future. This week I was like... 'okay, this one will take place in the past! Let's see what Kagome and the guys were up to.' It makes it kind of fun. Anyway, I'm just jabbering on. Sorry. I really do enjoy your story and look forward to the updates. You certainly deserve any of the nominations that you have been chosen for. Good luck with them. Thanks for the read!

In my opinion, all of your sess/kag rocks. I understand why you don't update often, and it just makes the anticipation and the joy of seeing a chapter that much more interesting and better. I love this story and i really like how you've included sesshoumaru's beast in this. It makes sense with his character to add it as he seems rather emotionless and cold despite his passion for battle (which i think is his beasts doing) I am really looking forward to more chapters, and don't worry, i also enjoy the wait for them

I am completely addicted to your writing. You have talent for sure! The "past chapters" that people are bitching about are a necessity to this story. I believe it is what gives the story more depth than the average fluff story. It's hard to find writing of this quality these days...Nice work m'dear. Keep it up! But definitely keep your priorities in line ;)
