I'd say that chapter moved things along VERY nicely... I got chills reading that last paragraph, but I'm THRILLED that Inuyasha is finally breaking away from Kikyo, though I hope that Kagome wakes up in time to finish her exibition, or, you know, just WAKES UP!

I don't know when you last updated this story, but, you've been writing since 2007! That's 13 YEARS from my perspective in October of 2020, and a whole lot of time for an author to have writers block. Not that I can say how long an author can get writers block for... My longest period was, I think, 6 years? I get it though. New ideas completely swamp you or they leave you high and dry and there is NO in-between. I REALLY hope you continue the story though, I'm REALLY looking forward to how this whole thing ends!

Your writing style is very relatable, and I love how you portrayed Kagome's and Kouga's friendship... I SO want Ayame to show up later and steal that wolf's heart!

Like: What do Kagome's dreams mean? Who is this woman she sees in her dreams? Is she an unawakened Miko? Is Inuyasha hanyou (Kagome didn't mention his ears, so I don't know if they were hidden under a uniform cap of some sort, or just weren't there, or she just didn't think it important to mention them)? Will they move in together when Sango and Miroku get a place for themselves? etc. You get my gist, I'm sure :)

"My parents died 5 years ago"... No WONDER she's beating herself up about fighting with her little brother before he left for the front lines again!
Her situation is SO relatable though.
Like, from an outside perspective, it's not like Sango told her to find her own place, or stay with the three of them, so, if they just TALKED about it openly, the three of them could find a solution that works for all of them!
Also, the hints are pretty obvious, so, I don't think it'd be such a big problem if Sango and Miroku just switched roommates... I can TOTALLY see Inuyasha and Kagome living together! (Although he'll have to get his act together in the honesty department, regarding his hanyou status and human time and shit like that)
Still, it was a GREAT chapter, and I'm also really impressed with your descriptions of Kagome's drawings, they're not overly detailed, but I can see them in my minds eye when I read what you wrote about them!

O-ho... I can't WAIT for the inevitable introductions and reveals! So many interconnected parties... I just hope the tangles don't confuse them too much.
Ok... That's one HORRIBLE twist!
I'm freaking CRYING right now! WHY?!
Why must Inuyasha be so DENSE!
AND WHY is he with Kikyo again!
She's clearly a bitch, and a secretive one at that, so what gives!
AND now Kagome's seeking solace in Kouga's arms, which he's ALWAYS wanted her to, but she'S weak and emotional right now, so that's not exactly a great way to upgrade a friendship of many years into a romantic relationship either!
SERIOUSLY, just have Inuyasha dump Kikyo before she can hurt him again; lock Kagome and Inuyasha in the Cafe for a night so that they can resolve their arguements and actually become FRIENDS; and have Kagome introduce Kouga to her friend and fellow Art Major, Ayame!
My revelations after this chapter (this chapter being 6): Kouga's family is most likely demon yakuza; His parents were probably the ones who killed Kagome's parents; Kagome is a miko, but she herself is unaware of her power; Kagome is probably far more powerful AND unstable than anyone realises; Inuyasha will likely have to save Kagome from becoming a test subject for whatever blackmarket work Kikyo is involved in regarding the demon blood in her body; and this story is surprisingly alot darker and violent than the stories I usually read...

...I am SLOWLY coming to like the way this is headed.
Still, Kagome now being a part of Inuyasha's pack, and Kouga still in love with her, and Ayame not yet in the picture, and Kikyo still IN the picture, is going to keep the story fairly tense, if not interesting, for a while longer.

So... Here's a question... Are the angry instances with amnesia because she hasn'T yet learned to understand or communicate with her new beast? Or do they have something to do with her miko background?
Oh, and does she still have miko powers if Inuyasha's blood won?
