I don't know if I would classify this as a Darkfic, but a very well written piece and a good story.

That was lovely. There was a teeny bit about the origins of all the in-laws there that took a minute to work through, but the emotions came through very well, as well as the description in the beginning - that was very evocative. Nicely done emotional inner dialogue for Inuyasha.

Not many stories move me this way. This story was very touching and extremly well written. You did and awesome job with the emotions and I have relegated you to my fave authors list. Maybe its my way to recent brush with too many deaths at once that made this stick out for me, but for whatever reason, you managed to draw a tear from my eye with it.
