I love this story! i can't wait to read more. very awesome and i'm a sucker for a good sappy story! love it! well written, good descriptions, captivating and funny characters and very few editing mistakes. bravo! more! please?

I liked the way you set up this chapter, -- starting with Miroku and Inuyasha running into her and Shun, then moving to the flashback of how she came to be engaged in the first place, then her talks with Sango, then back to the meeting. Nice! I really enjoy the way you are writing Kagome and Sango's friendhsip, -- it's very real. We see that Kagome isn't the only one with doubts about her relationship with Shun. Sango obviously thinks the love isn't there. And even though she's Shun's friend, too, she cautioned Kagome about him because of Shizuru. I'd be interested to see what some of the guy friends think about it. Do they think she and Shun should be together, or do they think it's destined to fail? I keep looking ahead, since I have to believe Kag and Inu WILL end up together, to see what's going to happen to Shun. None of us want Kag to be guilty of cheating, or of breaking his heart. But, on the other hand, I don't really want HIM to end up "shunned" (pun intended) by his friends for leaving HER for Shizuru or something like that. It would be a shame for there to be a rift in the friends. I think you're doing a terrific job of building this up to show that deep feelings are probably not going to be shattered on either side, but it will still be awkward for all involved. I'd like a little insight into Shun's thoughts about Kagome and his relationship with her. Maybe he could talk to Inuyasha about her. After all, the two of them really still need to talk about what happened all those years ago. I really liked the way you had Kagome not want to blame the alcohol, but unable to help it, because admitting anything else would destroy everything for her. It's just so REAL. Super-kudos for that. And it was hard to read how hurt Inu was when she said it was a mistake. Again, so REAL, because even though he had said that to himself, it still hurt to hear HER say it. You did SUCH a fabulous job with that whole scene. Their thoughts and feelings were perfectly done, and your descriptions of their expressions, movements, -- everything conveyed their uneasiness with the whole situation. And yes, you showed very clearly that the two of them have decided to ignore what's between them and try to just go on. I, too, will enjoy watching that wall come down. Somehow, I don't think it will be able to stand for long before the first cracks appear. LOL!! A well-timed appearance by Shizuru could put them all in a tailspin, and blow it up completely. But, first, we need to have them realize that they can't avoid each other. (The job!! Heh heh!) I wonder how long it will be before one of their friends sees what's in their eyes when they look at each other, and what will the reaction be? I'm just loving this. It's well-thought-out, well-written, and just a great, realistic, little love story, with a realistic, believable obstacle, that gives just the right touch of angst to this without it being overwhelming or depressing. You're struck the right balance, and that's so rare. More!!

wow i love it... thats basically all i can say... i wish kagome would get rid of shun and her and inuyasha fall deeply in love ahhaha but im impatient... anyways cant wait until the next update

Nice chapter. The flashback was a little confusing, perhaps she could've done that as exposition? The story seemed to slide and it's unclear when the trauma with the ex occurred and when the engagement occurred. All was forgiven for the fluffy scene in the park.

The previous chapters of this story seemed to be moving a bit slow, but I think you've really struck a chord with this chapter. The citrus was very tastefully written, and I enjoy seeing the emotional connection between these two forbidden lovers growing. Wonderfully done, and I look forward to more of this story in the future!

I think you handled that situation just right. They got in over their heads, but you stopped them just short of drowning. LOL! And I had been wondering about Kagome's experience level, but you cleared that up. Great way to bring Sess in -- having him see Inu so disheveled. LOL!! What was that tiny mention of Kikyou? That Inu never really just went for a fling -- except for Kikyou? Did I interpret that correctly, and is her name going to come up again? Because I could live without it. LOL! Hmmm. I've been wondering how this can work without Inu and Kag being the bad guys, but I figure since Shun left Kag for Shizuru once, he might do it again, ne? (I guess I'll just have to wait to see what you have planned. ^_^ ) Well, this little meeting is ... awkward. I can't wait to see what's going to happen. The two of them need to talk, and I can't imagine Kag going on like this for long without breaking things off with Shun, -- even if she plans not to see Inu again. And, of course, Inu will be dealing with her through their businesses. THAT'S going to be an inter4esting surprise. You've got lots of good stuff going on in here, and I'm really enjoying the story. The lime was good -- nice and hot, but tastefully written. Now, write more!
