Nice second chapter. I really enjoyed the whole bit where Shizuru was describing Rin as some kind of porn star -- hilarious! Love the way yusuke called Kurama on how carefully he had looked at the girl to be able to refute Shizuru's assumption. Shiz seems a bit crude, but then again, so do Kag and Rin. I like Kagome's connections to Kazuma and Keiko. Nice way to pull them into the others' little circle. So, Rin doesn't want a man because she had to watch her husband grow old and die? Why doesn't she scope out a demon male, then? Surely Sesshoumaru could hook her up. LOL!! In many ways, the way the characters interact in this remind me a lot of "With Love," but the element of the coming danger/mystery of who wants to steal Yukina's baby adds such a nice element to it. I have to wonder what you have planned. Will the baby be stolen? Will Kagome and Rin try to help them get it back? Will it have something to do with their past? So many possibilities! I'm really excited about it! But, I have to confess, I am equally looking forward to Hiei and Kagome starting to interact. Obviously, their early conversations are going to be full of suspicion on his part, which will lead to irritation from her, but it already looks like some blatant attraction flowing between them. Loved the little stare-down. I was interested that during her and Rin's little scene where they tried to embarrass each other, Kagome really did get embarrassed and started blushing. That's the Kag we all know and love, but it seemed strange with the stuff she was spouting herself. I liked Kag calling Sess Rin's "sugar daddy." LOL!! Loved Yusuke's comment about being thrown in between the two and just call him a "happy sandwich." It seemed like a very "Yusuke" thing for him to say. I really like the way you write him. When Keiko mentioned that it would be nice to have Kag for a midwife, but that she didn't think they could afford her, I expected Kag to offer to do it for free. I'm wondering, why did Yusuke flare his aura/power at them? I enjoyed the bit where Kag and Rin were planning to take Kirara for a ride. That was a really nice touch. And I giggled when Rin was thinking to herself how LITTLE Hiei is. LOL!! That was a nice touch, too. Interesting. Hiei talked about Yukina being his sister in front of Shizuru,who is Kuwabara's brother, but Keiko doesn't know? Because if keiko doesn't know, I kind of assumed that he still hadn't told Yukina, and that Kuwabara didn't know, either. So, who all knows? I'm looking forward to seeing what Kurama digs up on Kag and Rin. This is so much fun!! Can't wait for the next installment!

Very intriguing beginning! I like the whole idea of Kagome and Rin housing the souls that were in the jewel, and it making them basically immortal. They make a cute sister-couple. The relationship with Inuyasha that just went kaput seems strange. He LEFT her? So much for his constancy of heart. And they were together for about 20 years? And does Kagome look 26 or 20? You said something about Rin stopped aging around 17, and that Kagome was 26 then, and she stopped aging, too, but then later Hiei said she barely looked 20. So, um, which is it? So, someone is going to be after Yukina's baby, and Hiei is having nightmares about it? That's sad. My guess would be a koorime. I like Kagome being Yukina's midwife, -- but why didn't she just go ahead and become a doctor? She's certainly had enough TIME to become anything -- MANY things. I would have guessed that after living for 500 years, she might have degrees in medicine, law, botany, -- even archery. LOL!! She could have worked at a dozen different professions by now. I really loved you making Rin an anime artist. LOL!! THAT was inspired. And I am really liking the planned pairings for this. Hiei/Kag all the way!! And I don't think I've ever seen anyone write a Rin/Kurama before. I was interested that you paired Kurama up with Shizuru again in this. I have to wonder, do you not like her, since she's going to lose Kurama again? LOL!! You've placed a stumbling block in Rin's way already, since Kurama "adores" Shizuru, and they're thinking/talking marriage and kids. Can't wait to see how you break them up. And Hiei's suspicions of Kagome are going to be the big stumbling block THERE, I guess. Kagome's little "girl-talk" with Genkai in front of Yukina was funny! I like it that Genkai likes her and knows about her. I'll be interested to see if Kag has any extra "powers" due to the dormant demonic soul inside her. Obviously, she's cloaking SOMETHING. Just her miko powers, (and those are probably pretty strong by now, huh?), or MORE? This looks like it's going to be a really great story, and I'm really looking forward to it!

Very Good. I really liked it, but I hope this doesn't mean you've given up on your other story "With Love".

Great beginning, I felt pulled in. Hearing Genkai talk about sex had me laughing. When do Kagome and Hiei actually meet?
