This was wonderful. Truly the only Kouga/Kagome worth reading on this site. Or anywhere, for that matter. It is so HARD to find good writing of this pairing.

I think that this is one of the best Kouga/Kagome fics I've read in a very long time. I think you've kept Kagome in character very well. I think any girl of her age and innocence would have given in to someone she knew, trusted and liked. Also, given the fact that she was aware of Inuyasha going off to meet Kikyo, why wouldn't she fall into Kouga's arms. I think the love scene was very sweet and romantic for her first time. And I liked the way you described how Kouga held back, thinking of her and not himself. This was wonderful. I'm not so much interested in Kagome's POV, but rather the confrontation between Inuyasha, Kagome and Kouga. That should be quite entertaining watching Inuyasha blow a gasket when he finds out the Kags is mated to Kouga, even though he has no rights or claim to her. He has to learn that he can't have his cake and eat it too! I've always thought that Kouga was a better match for Kags anyway.

Looking forward to the next chapter. How nice it was to finally read a really nicely written fic amongst all the crap that's been posted.
