Wow, it was indeed not a happy ending but I really enjoyed it. I think you dis a great job portraying this couple. Kagome is always leading poor Kouga on to get Inuyasha jealous and when she runs to Inuyasha in front of Kouga in that episode, I thought she was the biggest hypocrite! She thinks Inuyasha is a jerk for going to Kikyo and being insensitive to her feelings but she would do something like that in front of Kouga despite his feelings? Not cool, Kagome. I liked the lemon almost as much as I liked the realistic, non-cliche ending. This was perfect!

Your take on this was totally realistic. I love it. I am a huge fan of alternate pairings. I enjoyed this story very much.

The logic of this whole story impresses me. I can't stand when people just throw Kagome and Kouga together when things are clearly more complex, and Koga would never want to play second fiddle to anyone. This was wonderful.

very depressing but yes u had it pegged correctly all the way. i really enjoyed reading this type of version.

IT was nice, and i totally dig ya when you mention that Kouga is always ready and willing to be second best in most of these fics... I don't know but this... this was a nice twist to it all! Happy Writing!!

I saw this story had no reviews and HAD to fix that. I happen to like the way you made Kouga stay the strong individual he is. I am more of a sess/kag person of late and I liked seeing something different. Inu/kag has sort of been done to death in the canon universe... Mine is in AU, other words real life... Hop on over and read it if you wish.

I do appreciate Kouga's reaction and am dissapointed in Kagome. She knew better.
