When is the next chapter? If you're short on ideas I have one. Sessy's beast wants to take care of his new mate and pup. However Sessy himself don't want to make it look like he's willing, so he tells Kagome if she comes to live in his home he will give her safety, comfort and food for her and the baby during the duration of the pregnancy and healers and aid for the birth. His excuse is to hide the 'embarrassment' of conceiving an half-breed and mating with an ningen.
However, during the rest of the time left for birth Sessy comes to feel guilt for his actions and the desire to not only raise and care for his child and desire then love for Kagome. So he tentatively starts to try and develop an relationship with Kagome, who at first doesn't want to even get to know him, but she has a good heart and begins to waver.
I think you should do an ending like either InuYasha or Naraku attacks the home, trying to get to and kill Sessy (InuYasha either as revenge for believing Sessy has locked her up as a prisoner for sexual reasons, or had brain-washed her into staying) or Naraku after Sessy for his power or to get to someone he thinks as an 'weak spot' of Sessys-or-sudden thought-what better way to get power from both Kagome and Sessy then to absorb a child born from their combined genetic material.
In an final moment Kagome jumps in front of Sessy (I have an image of her being impaled by one of Naraku's tentacles as it had launched at Sessys heart). In that moment Sessy realizes what started as obligation became love and-if you uses Naraku-the anger and grief causes him to loose control and slaughters Naraku. He therefore gets the full jewel from his corpse and without realizing it during his grief, wishes her back.
Happily ever after.
