I adore this, by the way. It's terribly sexy, and the plot isn't completely improbable. Especially the way he picked up the vial. It's all stuff that could actually happen. None of the characters are OUT of character.

Actually, the author is correct. That furry thing is a pelt. Rumiko said she had drawn it too big, but liked it, and kept it. Besides, he has taken it off several times. Tails don't come off.
