Oh wow, and I though the previous chapters were good, this just keeps getting better and better-- well not better cause its awful what happened but the story is defintly award winning material!
The scene where Sesshomaru explains what happened is both disgusting and well handled, if thats possible. The idea of someone doing that to a child is disgusting, but you are right-- it happenes more than we know. I am glad you used such educated vocabulary with the description, a mark of your intelligence I am sure, because that had all potential to be 'squicky' -- is that the word?
Looking forward to more!

I love that he continued to hold Sesshomaru's hand. And thankfully, Sesshomaru just got it out in the open about the kiss instead of trying to avoid the subject. And I liked that this change in Sesshomaru's character is being picked up by InuYasha, particularly his surprise at the apology. I wonder about the karo syrup, though. Would it have been in Japan at that time? I'm not sure, just a question. Aside from that, I really enjoyed this chapter and finally finding out what happened to make him hate being around someone eating.

I honestly wish there were more InuTashio stories on here, I mean the guy couldn't have been an angel could he(No pun intended)? He surely wasnt father of the year material-- he WAS a demon after all..
I'm still mystified as to how something as delicate as this subject matter can be written so well and handled with such grace. To most this would be written remniscent of something you could get arrested for having on your computer. With you-- its-- wow!
My compliments, and I hope to see more soon!

I strongly suggest watching the movie. That actress who plays Sybil does such an awsome job, and the movie does do justice to the book. I cant wait to see how inu reacts to the kiss

I have to say you dealt with such a sensitive scene very well. Also, I like the reason the kiss came. It was done so differently than I've seen before, as Sesshomaru's logic kicking in from his experience with his father, as a means of thanking someone for kindness and affection. It makes a lot of sense, and I'm really surprised it hasn't appeared in other stories where Sesshomaru had been abused. Now that the truth is out in the open about their father, I wonder what InuYasha's reaction will be.

I love that Sesshomaru seems to trust InuYasha more, enough to admit what was making him so frightened. It shows a nice progression in their relationship, particuarly after that nice touch that Sesshomaru had built a fire "for warmth."
