Oh wow!! I love this story.. this is currently my favorite story on this site. The story plot is kickass and I simply adore the way you went about making your own little world and even your own way of explaining how Inuyasha got the was he is. Hell! I simply just LOVE the story. I can't wait for more updates!

first off, i really am enjoying this story. it's wonderful and i appreciated all the detail work that went into the settings.
there are two things I have to say and please be aware that neither is a flame:
1) this world is almost silly, it's so utopian. it reminds a lot of the hippie commune ideals of the '60s with a healthly appreciation of consumerism. that's not to say i don't appreciate it- i think as an element of a story it's fine. but no conflict? no arguements at all that aren't solved in a tribunal? maybe you just have a more optimistic world view than I do but put a lot of people together and there is bound to be some conflict. people fight, are violent, cheat, steal and react instead of thinking things through. it's human nature. a conflict could just be a different viewpoint about an oath but to have everyone obeying the rules just kind of makes no sense. the screening process can only work so much (and besides, the city seems pretty expensive. those guards can't be getting paid that much. a few bribes accepted here and there and viola! criminals enter the city). However I will say that i do see foreshadowing with that naraku and the white prince thing that might hint at some past conflit so maybe this long drawn out statement is premature.
2) love the way you've presented the characters. every one of them has their own original...flavor? presentation? whatever. something about the way you've reimagined these really well known characters is really, really well done. the fact that naraku isn't a villan straight off the bat is alone worthy of praise. 3 dimensional characters in fan fiction land are very rare. kagome is realistic and not saint-like-to-the-point of-stupidity. but most of all inuyasha is a joy! he's happy sometimes! it's great. no one- not even a king of angst- can stay miserable 24/7. inu is fantastic. i'm falling in love with him all over again.
great job

WOW. I love this story. The new setting is a great idea. I especially like the slow progression of the characters. Your not having them just jump into something. Which is nice sometimes but it really adds something to your story. Love it lots. please write more soon.

I accidentally ran into this story tonight and can't say I'm too upset that I did. Great update. I like how Kagome and Inuyasha's relationship is slowly maturing. You're not rushing the relationship which is a good thing. I find that many stories that end up doing so have a hard time developing a well rounded plot. You have a good pace; don't speed it up for a quicker entry for smut. Quality over quantity any day. Ja ne!

Tehehe. Inuyasha's having quite the difficult figuring poor Kagome out. I'm rather enjoying watching him become frustrated over her actions. And it's rather a shame you've decided that Sesshoumaru won't be paying a visit to your story. When you had had Naraku first mention his friend who became the white prince I almost thought for a second it could have been Sesshoumaru. Now it just looks like I'll have to wait to see who this mystery person is. Also it's quite refreshing to have Naraku as a gentleman here in your story. Most stories, he's always the cruel hearted villian so this is really an interesting turn of events for his character. Oh and please don't worry about not having any naughtiness in the story thus far. Many stories here sometimes don't even get to the so called "porn" part until much much much later in the stories. So your quite fine with where your heading. A story that has an ACTUAL plot to it in my mind has a much better quality to it then the ones that are just straight up porn. So please don't feel worried over such a sily issue. We all know your leading us up to the part where it'll be possible for such things to occur. For now, just concentrate on how you want the story to progress and we'll just wait. At least, that's how I feel about it but, I hardly speak for the reviewers as a whole. ^_^;

Anyway, I'm highly looking forward to Chapter 10. I'm very sorry for not reviewing Chapter 9 but, I was quite sick at the time of it's release so I didn't have time to really read or review it. But thank you so much for replying to my review. That very much made my day. Take care and good luck in school, I know how difficult it is balancing both fanfiction and school work. :D
