You know, I'll be damned if I didn't see a _very_ badly written ripoff of this story a few weeks ago on A Single Spark. Only, in the other version, the gossping crow youkai were kitsune. I'd look into it if I were you. Plagiarists seem to abound on that site.

Ha! Just read this again after "In the Heat of the Moment." I have to confess, I like this one a lot better. (I always like it better when Inu and Kikyo are the ones getting slammed -- they deserve it.) I KNEW I liked your writing! Write more!

Hilarious!! Loved it!! And too funny that Inuyasha thought they were talking about Kikyou -- he should KNOW Sesshoumaru has better taste than that! This is a great one-shot! But, if you wanted to expand it another chapter, you could tell what happens when inuyasha realizes it was KAGOME with his brother. TOO good!
