Chapt. 27
Poor, poor Sesshoumaru! Loving and caring - oh my - ...lol Really enjoyed Rin's part and Jaken's new look; spring green. Yup, little Rin is going to put Sesshoumaru through the wringer with her innocent comments! Can just imagine the fire works when she starts relaying all her info to Inuyasha as only a child can do...lol 'Out of the mouths of babes' I'm sure wasn't coined in Sesshoumaru's time. Hmmmm, there must an equivalent for that phrase though - children are universal in their ability to tell it like it is. Looking forward to that meeting between Inuyasha and Rin!

It's 3:00 in the morning and I've gotta get to sleep! I could not sleep untill I read the newest chapter. Oh my God out of the mouths of babes. The images that filled Sess's mind with each of Rin's innocent questions made my heart hurt. The image of Inu crawling into that dark cave bleeding, frightned and hurting really affected me. This is a powerful story. Inu's friends not knowing what to say to him makes it all the more real. Even knowing what's going on in his head I can't think of anything that would help. A quote from the movie The Miricle Worker about Helen Keller comes to mind. It's been awhile but it goes somthing like this:
"If she were caught in a land slide and her body trapped beneath dirt and stone, not a person in town would fail to come to her aid. With pick axe and shovel they would work through the night to save her. But when a person's soul is being crushed before their eyes no one lifts a finger to help. Even if they could see it, they would not know how."
Wow, just wow.

Yes! Another update for Uke. Those always save my day :o) If this is what happens when you are unhappy with a chapter, all I can say is post, post, post! Don't hold back, they are plenty fine. I am much looking forward to seeing how the meeting with Rin goes over, so please don't keep me in suspense for too long. Am I wrong in thinking that Miroku is going to milk Rin for much more information than the Daiyoukai is comfortable with? ;o)

Aww what a good chapter to an already awesome story! It was worth the wait I tell you. Rin could cheer up a 7 day old corpse couldnt she? Such a bright happy child! I hope you post more soon!

I'm glad you updated! It wasn't as bad as you thought, I'm sure. It was pretty interesting. I like the cute little scene between InuYasha and Miroku. That was sweet. I hope you update again soon!

I love this story and was so glad to see an update. I hope Sesshomaru soon comes to terms with his emotions and InuYasha can find some comfort in Rin, rather than being jealous of her, and hopefully enjoy Miroku's company as someone he can talk to.
