First of all, I have to say I completely enjoy this story. Typically, I find the idea of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha becoming mates to be comical at best. In this story, you have presented it in a believable manner and managed to keep both characters IN character. I applaud you for that. They both, in their own ways, are resisting this mating and are struggling to cope with its fall out.

I like the fact that you expanded upon Inuyasha's background considering the rape in his boyhood. It is very plausible, considering how he grew up and that everyday was a struggle for survival. It also adds an extra layer to why he might resist being with a male---let alone his brother. As for Sesshomaru, I like how he's finally coming to grips with his temper and his treatment of Inuyasha. Inuyasha never asked to be born or to exist and Sesshomaru has been taking his rage out on him his whole life. It's about time he acknowledge that fact and, even in some small way, make amends for it.

I loved when they met their future selves. The future for the two of them together seems like it can be bright if they can survive that past. It was incredibly entertaining to see the future Sesshomaru beat the crap out of the past Sesshomaru for his behavior towards Inuyasha. The touching moments between the future Inuyasha and future Sesshomaru afterwards was adorable and touching.

What a nasty trick for Naraku to play, too. I think Inuyasha would react exactly like that under those circumstances because he feels it would be better he suffer than for his friends. I think Sesshomaru did the right thing when he finally caught up with the evil spider. If only he could have melted him again.

I loved how Inuyasha hid Sesshomaru's armor from him. Classic, and the fact that Jaken ended up touching something he shouldn't---hilarious! The fall out with Inuyasha laughing at him and Sesshomaru first growing furious only to realize he's never really heard Inuyasha laugh was genius. I don't think we've ever heard Inuyasha truly laugh and I mean TRULY laugh in the series. He bitterly chuckles, but not gut busting laugh. When he finally had his emotional break down and Sesshomaru was there to support him, I think we're finally seeing the tide turn for them.

I can't wait to see what you do next with the story. It's certainly one of the best Inuyasha/Sesshomaru stories out there.

OMG, when Jaken grabbed Sesshoumaru while trying to clean him off, I almost fell out of the chair laughing. That was great. I love your story.

Wow! Sess/Inu is not normally my thing but this is one of the best stories I have ever read. Not best Sess/Inu, not even best Inuyasha fanfiction, but best story. Straight up. I truly hope that you really do finish eveything cause I can't wait for more of this one.

OMG!!! I truly love this fic! I can't wait until you post another chapter. I wouldn't trust Sess either after all that shit he said as he grew up. It hard to trust someone like that.

I was reading this on Mediaminer; this is my main site for finding things to read, but I hadn't seen it on here. I am so glad I found it by chance today, you have more chapters here, and I have been waiting to find out what would happen. I've read through 18, and I'm itching to find out what happens. You are a great writer; I'm impressed; I don't think I could keep Sess and Inu so angsty for so long, I don't have the strength to do that as a writer as I want them together. (I don't mean this as insult either, or that you should have done your story different, It's great the way it is as I said I'm honestly really impressed!) I loved the spanking scene in chapter 16, that was totally hot! Keep up the great work!

I LOVE this fic. The writing style is addictive, and the characterization simply magnificent. I particularly like the realism of Inuyasha's behaviour. I always hate it when fic that mention rape treat it as insignificant, and the remaining paranoia about Sesshomaru's behaviour is also very well done.

Holy shite... well-written inusesst is really hard to find, and here you come bearing an epic fanfiction! I'll be checking for an update daily, considering there's practically no solid source of fics in this fandom.
