This is how good the chapter was. I'm crying. lol I've actually had a similar thing happen to me. My ex had loved two people, but one more than the other. I was not the one he loved most tho. So hearing about them broke me up into two, and I was hurt, just as bad as Kagome. Well, now she broke his heart and he realized I've been with him just as long as she has, but even tho we live far apart, I was still there for him, especially when she broke up with him and tore HIM in two. I loved him since the moment we started talking, and now he's realized that I'm actually good for him. We fight like a normal couple (however, we're not dating cuz he's still torn about HER, cuz she treated him like dirt and then left him for someone closer and better), we tell each other what's happening in our lives, we cuddle...Maybe the same will happen in the story? That's my guess lol

Inuyasha is such an ass!!!!How could he say Kagome is just a burden, he was the one who went after her, so whats' up with that? And why does he still want to be with Kikyo if she never stood up for him and let him stay in jail? I just bet she is not the innocent victim she is claiming to be. I bet she is in league with Naraku or something.

After reading your reply to me, I read chapter three again. I have to say sorry. You see, I think I read too fast and I missed a sentence. Making Inuyasha seem over the top two faced and horribly cruel (well, more so than he actually is right now). How you're chatacerizing Inuyasha is dead on. Sorry about that. I also understand about the two chapter prologue thing. My connection would always go dead too when I read long chapters.

Anyway, great chapter. I can't find anything to critique. I hope you update soon.

OUCH! What Kagome heard during that phone call would break any woman's heart if she was in love with the man saying it. And Inu is ADORABLE in this story. So hard-edged due to experience but still so SWEET. So, you can't blame her for being devastated. But I can't help but think that she read too much into what she heard. It's quite possible that Inu is just fattening Kikyo up for the kill. I really hope I'm right, and I will definitely be looking for the next update to find out.

O.M.G! How could Inuyasha do that to her? That's just wrong and really jerkish! ^^ Cant wait to find out what'll happen next chapter so update soon!!!

Great chapter and since you asked for some constructive criticism, here you go. I feel like Chapter Three was sort of too far ahead. Maybe you should sort of make the first two chapters a prologue? Also, I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to show Inuyasha as? He acts like a jerk when he's talking to Kikyo about Kagome, then when he's talking to Kagome, he acts sweet to her. I hope we get a little more info on the next chapter about his two faced behavior.
