Oh my, this chapter was so much fun to read. I'm so curious how long
Sesshoumaru will be able to keep his identity secret, well actually I'm looking
even more forward to the point when Kagome is finding out who the desperate
demon is she is sharing the cell with.

Hello again, Rin. I was beginning to wonder abit if you were going to update this anytime soon. Now I know you have another life and all, but you have got me sooo dang curious as to how this is going to end up that I couldn't help checking every single night I'm on. Congradulations on getting Risa to help with the beta work. Can't believe why you'd get turned down by any award for a few minor mistakes. I find that to be so inconsequential when the writing quality and storyline are so good. Your thought process, delivery, and desciption are phenominal and a few typos and such make no difference when you add up everything. It's not like you can afford to hire people to correct your work and still get it out at a timely rate. Sometimes I think people critize way too much. I really liked the meeting of our couple. I'm sorry Kagome is scared and blind, but I'm also glad she didn't have to see Sesshoumaru in the condition he's in. It would have been just another thing to give Sesshoumaru reason to want to end his life seeing as he contemplating the idea. This way he can watch her natural reactions and know that her kind and loving nature goes out to all, not just those she knows. He'd might think she help him just to use it as blackmail later...he really doesn't know her well enough to think otherwise and the thought of maybe InuYasha finding out would be a real kick in the gut. I'm starting to like the snow monkey too. He seems to be the only one keeping Kagome from falling into fear. Oh and Rin? PLEASE don't let our little Kagome get raped. Sesshoumaru's degradation is so hard on us fangirls out here...let Kagome be HIS Knight in Shining Armour. And I hope Sesshoumaru gets to rip that Iku's privates off...go straight down his throat and unmercifully pull it out...all heck, why not feed it back to him too why he's at it. Hey and I'm really a very kind and gentle person, but that guy's got it coming and as for the witch with a capital B...she's all yours. Hey Rin, is there any way I can get emails to let me know when you're going to update? I missed this one and I really want to read them when you first put them up. My email is: v-lazar@sbcglobal.net. I don't know if they hide them from you or not but I want to always know when you've got a story coming. As I told you before, I'm disabled and your fics keep me from having to live in this world of constant boredom. With your stories especially, I get so thoroughly engrossed that the hours seem like minutes. Oh and I wanted to ask if you write any other stories other than InuYasha. Your talent is so good that I'd like to read anything you write. So, until the next time you update this or Madman...TTFN Jen

What an author you are! You inspire me with the quality, dedication, and imagination of your work. I've rad of your work across several sites and am blown away each time. I love how you portrayed Sesshoumaru. You wrote him beautifully. A straight being forced to live an alternate life. When he slit his throat that was profound. Then the scene with him getting taken from behind was powerful!!! So deep yet so poignant. You have a wonderful gift. His arousal coming so strongly against his feelings of rape. To find sexual satisfaction out his debasement. Shame and release all at once. Wow! You've raised the bar. Thank you.

*Note - I'm reviewing this after having read all available chapters (1-8).
I have to admit that upon recognizing that you were the author of this story my expectations for it sky-rocketed. I was not disappointed. I've been following your work on Single Spark for a short while, but the quality of your writing astounds me. I'm glad to see that it carries on.
Now to focus on "Violation of Honor"!
To see Sesshoumaru thrown into a position where his power and control have been stripped from him is unusual, though it has been done before. However, I've never seen it done to this caliber, and you play it out magnificantly. I'm not a fan of seeing him in a weak or submissive position, but I'm incredibly intrigued about where the story is going. Seeing him fight his own thoughts, insecurities, and emotions the way he has been...it's been breaking my heart, but I know there is happiness to be found at the end of the rainbow! It'll get there. Until there, please continue with the incredible writing. I'm eager for more!

I've reread this story because it IS a compelling, well written, gripping tale. As I reread it, I am once again moved with sympathy, sorrow, anger and left with hope. I wish I could give it a higher rating.
