OMFG!!! Amazing story, very articulate use of language. I love your writing style. I love the interaction you have between the two,there's just so much going on with it that it just draws u in. It's like 3 in the morning, I told myself I was gonna stop reading and go to sleep but I just couldn't stop you definitely had me hooked ^_^ Please continue.

This is excellent. At first, I really wasn't sure if I was going to like this story, but it's really quite unusual and well-written and I look forward to the next chapter. Keep up the good work!

Wonderful! I cannot wait to know how this goes... I never imagined Bankotsu in a paternal role, but you're convincing me. I love the mechanism of the thinning of the veil during the solstice, and then Kirara's calling in a debt to Midoriko herself. Damn cool. Your eloquence is pure delight, btw. So often fanime writers (gods I love that term) get so lost in description it bogs down the flow making the read cumbersome, but following your prose is like taking a leisurely stroll, rather than a hike uphill. Looking forward to more!!
