i believe that the changes in the characters are enough justified....
sesshomaru is pregnant... and inuyasha felt the necessity to protect and gave extra love to his mate!
it is pretty rational... although, you need to write your own story! so, it will be interesting if you write a sequel of this one.. now in your own terms!

This is not a narrative text, it´s a badly written draft, you shouldn´t try to start by a sequel if you don´t even know how to create decent descriptions, dialogues, thoughts and follow basic grammar rules. I really don´t know how the author gave you permission to continue her work.

...well, you have a good plot going, but you definitely need a beta to help you with sentence structure and grammar and so forth.

you may have had her permission but this isnt nearly as good as hers though its alright.
