soo, I checked out some of your other stories after becoming hooked by the Heart Within. I tend to dislike songfics, but ignoring the song portions of this story, it's a clever AU and it's well done in terms of the right balance of description, character introspection (primarily from Sango's perspective), and plot development. I see you haven't updated in about 2 yrs but it would be great to see you continue this story. (like I mentioned, I could do without the song quotes, but I do appreciate that you keep them separate and bold so it's easy to skip over for those of us who aren't interested in reading the lyrics).

I must say that I was very surprised and thrilled to see another chapter to this story (as dark as it is). But it has to be dark to keep Naraku in character, yes? You did a great job of giving us an insight into just how depraved Naraku is - we all know he is, but this chapter really drove the point home, as well as giving us more of an idea of just why Sango and Kagome are on the run. Well done, as all your stories are. I first read this story back in the day when you had first posted it. I normally don't like the fics that take place in modern times, but I really enjoyed this one from the first, just like I've enjoyed all your others. Whether or not you keep writing this story (which I hope you do!), I'll look forward to reading anything that you see fit to put out there. :) Good to see you back!

please update.. i see this story hasnt been toced in a long time and yet it is such a nice change in flics that star Kouga.. i hope you havent abandoned the story completely

Can you please update this soon!! I am have been waiting for an update forever and I love this story! I love Sango and even though Kouga initially thought of her as a game it is so obvious that he has fallen for her well he might not be willing to admit that yet...LOL.
