Well, this story has a good base. I believe that you can expand on it more. Add in more datails of the surroundings, the characters thoughts, feelings, emotions, etc.

There are a few spelling 'oops's', but the thoughts and ideas and talent are there, just expand.

I hope that you don't think I am picking! I am only offering some ideas. It is up to you if you will use them or not, no problem, no offence intended or taken.
