It's a nice concept and all, and you have beautiful language, but the voice isn't Inuyasha at all. Where he says something like, "I could have become accustomed to this," that's Sesshoumaru's voice. Inuyasha would say something like, "And I could've got/gotten used to that."
I like your imagination, I like your story, it's just too formal to be the scrappy Inuyasha that wants to whoop Sesshoumaru's ass. He's not that eloquent.
