Oh Lordy, Lordy this chapter made me crack up. I couldn't help but chuckle when I read the quandary Kagome's gotten her self in to. What a predicament. As usual, wonderful style and grammar and such. I love the interesting, albeit twisted, plot you've set up. Can't wait to read more chapters.

Locking pinkies how cute. I just finished readin our story I tried reviewing earlier but my puter died. Loving the humor! And seeing kags go through with it all the way, even she can turn a cold heart warm. Hehehe hopefully haru gets a friendly male or female that would be funny to read. Great story hope to read more! Would write a better review sorry but my brain is fried! LOL

Aw, I didn't realize this was the last chapter, I'm sad! And I know I won't be able to finish it before I have to leave for my meeting... what a shame.
I'm really enjoying this story a lot. I was kind of iffy at first, but I was still really intruiged. And then it kept getting better and better. I really love the handle you have on all these characters. You have done such a good job making them true to themselves but still really interesting and entertaining. I always like to see Inuyasha behaving like *himself* in Sessh/Kag stories... Brash, arrogant, rude, loud, obnoxious, aggressive, but still very caring, sentimental, and touchy-feely when the time is right. He cares for Kagome a lot and doesn't always have to be the bastard a lot of people make him out to be. *pets your Inuyasha* I love him a lot in this story.
Also, Sesshomaru is written very well as well. He is dignified, regal, civilized, a bit arrogant... I can honestly imagine him approaching Kagome like he did in the beginning, and sort of tricking her like he did into agreeing. I was iffy about the letter he sent her, but it still smacked of his style and the effect Kagome might be having on him so I didn't press the issue. Also, in the past few chapters where he has been joking around with Haru a bit and coming to save Kagome... those scenes really added a lot of depth to this story. I was really impressed. (There is another story on FF.net by Wheezambu, a few actually, where Sesshomaru has a cousin or something who he is friends with and sort of jokes with. But it's always seemed weird to me, not to offend that writer--because I enjoyed the stories anyway--but to make the comparision between Sesshomaru and Noata (or whatever his name was) and Sesshomaru and Haru in your story... Their relationship really impressed me and I liked it a lot.)
The scene where Sesshomaru is laying in Kagome's lap might be my favorite scene of this entire story. It was just so nice... and how it went on from there, with them opening up to each other. So good.
I also really like the Kouga development. I can now see this turning into a choice of Kagome's own. I can see her being given the choice, and obviously telling Kouga 'no' and going to Sesshomaru by choice, because she really likes him and wants to go through with it. She's starting to really care for him and that's going to make the lemon so much more meaningful and special. I was iffy about this story because I thought she would have to go through with that deal and if she's only doing it because she has to, and not because she's falling for Sessh, it's not going to be nearly as good. So I'm very happy with this chapter.
Haru is also really cool. He's like Miroku without being TOO much like him, and having a cool connection with Sesshomaru, and being really family oriented (which is awesome), and being intruiged by Kagome. He's a really awesome addition to the group.
Okay, I have to interrupt with this since I've resumed reading this line is great:
“What?” Inuyasha all but screamed. “It’s not the first time I’ve apologized for something!”
Ha ha. "he all but screamed" it. That kills me. I'm really loving Inuyasha in this story.
YES:
“You’re making that crap up,” he said. “Stop trying to sound smart.”
That sounds SO much like Inuyasha. That is such an Inuyasha-type thing to say, OMG!
"he quirked" --- ehehehe, quirky Sessh!
Oh my god! She's actually holding on to his pinky with hers? That's so funny. Remember the days when he would've tried to kill her for touching him? *wistful sigh* However, that obviously changed when he decided he wanted her to bear his child *grumbles* Oh. *just realized something* Back in the beginning, wasn't it Miroku who was stressing that it wasn't just any child, it was a son? He wasn't the only one, but he did it at least twice right? Is it because the "will you bear my child?" line is his and he doesn't want anyone stealing it? xD
I can't remember what kind of clothes Haru wears... You said they're foreign but didn't explain them further again. I wish you did...
And Kouga... he's so dangerous. His cocky-ness makes him dangerous. Because he will NOT take 'no' for an answer. He always thinks you're lying, playing hard to get, etc. when you say 'no'. And it's not hard to believe he would get really angry when he looses. I can't stand him. I mean.. as a character I like him, but I really can't stand him. So I think the sooner you resolve his claim on her, the better. >>'
I'm sad that Kaede died, but it's an interesting twist and it's one less character that you have to worry about. Kikyou's arrival was sort of interesting too. But what about the bruise she gave Kagome on the cheek? Is it gone now? It wasn't mentioned again....
Aiko bothers me too. I can easily see her going into an insane rage or something. But it's also entirely possible that Kagome (& friends) will be able to win her over.
Sesshomaru is giving Shippou a hunting lesson--squee!
This story's character development and interaction is really strong. It adds an incredible amount to the story.
I can't seem to find anything that says when you last updated, but I'm really hoping this story is still being updated. It doesn't have to be updated constantly, just often enough that I know it's not on hiatus or anything. Stories that go on hiatus hardly ever come back. >>.
I really hope this posts...

Well, I just read your story and I have to say it's really interesting. I actually like your OC Haru, and I'm typically not a fan of OCs who play a big part in the story. I can't wait to see where you take the Haru angle. A couple of things I noticed were some consistent spelling errors--caudle should be coddle and if you want to add "esc" as a suffix, then it should be spelled as esque, as in grotesque or picturesque or bla-esque, or whatever. I only mention them because a) I'm one of those horrible anal retentive spelling people, and b) the caudle/coddle mistake threw me off so that for the longest time I was confused. Other than that, it's great, I'm glad I stumbled onto it, and I can't wait for more!
