This is a great chapter. I don't see many people who really write using Kuwabara as a character instead of comic relief. Thanks for that!

This one is by far my favorite so far. You've done an incredible job in how you set up Kagome in her current life. Just enough background in her thoughts to let you know she's alone. I really feel for her. i wonder what her encounters (and I'm sure they're coming) with the rest of the group will be like. She seems so much more mature, but the Kagome we know is still there too. She's just alone. I want the best things to happen to her for everything else she has experienced. And I also see a good friendship at the very least with Kazuma. I look forward to seeing what happens next. Most definitely.

Great start. Update soon. Can't wait to read Kagome's reactions to Kuwabara's friends. Hiei/Kagome or Kurama/Kagome for the pairings.
