This story is amazing. You know I really like the idea about Ryu being Sesshomaru's father, (or should I say 'sire' ^_^) Inutaisho is an interesting character too. The way he acts is a tasty touch to the story and I like the funny situations he inflicts. I hope to read more soon, so please update as fast as you can! I LOVE THIS STORY!

about # 9...
Oh..my..God!!! What a wuss!!! A proud Dog Demon General reduced to a...little woman, it's almost insulting to demons everywhere.
But this was some good anticipation, but I thought for sure Toga[Inutaisho] & Ryuu were going to duke it out. Maybe that'll be saved for the bedroom. :-)
It was definitely shocking & sweet what it was that Sesshomaru revealed what he did to his Father, but will he admit it later?
Now that we have TWO mated couples with BIG issues in a castle that is too small to hold them, can we say 'tension'?
This little story is getting mighty interesting. :-)

That was awsome! Indeed the best so far.
I really loved the part where Sess save Inus' mother,
and she called him by a,understandably misstaken, pet-name!

I sure hope you get well from your surgery, I had one no too long ago myself.
Ish scard to hell an back of needles..
I don't think the doctors ever seen a big grown man cry over such a thing, lol!
Please take care of yourself, don't push it and just heal for now, Drink plenty, and get lotsa` rest!!
We're all waiting, and have been.. So take your time we're not going anywhere!

As for my review over the chapter...
Oo, I want to know WHY Sesshomaru had “once” lost control of his youki so long ago! Tell meeeee!
And I LOVE that flashback with Izayoi, Inuyasha and Sesshomaru! Especially the obi part.
I would also like to either see a flash back of this following sentence or a ‘side story’ (you should really consider doing those) or something: The violent kaleidoscopic storms that were the moods of Inutaisho were an experience of their own, if only to be seen.
That was funny!

hehe, now that I'm more awake....
I like how you are taking this in smaller steps, instead of the huge leaps into feelings that I've seen before. Your use of flashbacks is good, in that it really shows some things that are only vaguely hinted at in the present text of the story.
Boy oh boy, dog daddy REALLY fixed it this time didn't he? One the one hand, he got what he wanted. Both his sons spared, and his mate free. Even tho he didn't do the freeing himself. On the other hand, just how exactly is he going to explain all of what he has done in the past centuries to his mate? Finally, methinks he sensed perhaps underlying feelings between the boys that one was just too proud to admit to, not to mention still feeling betrayed and hurt by the one parent on behalf of the other....while the younger knew of the feelings, but had to subvert them as he grew older. Was that the ultimate reasoning behind the pairing he insisted on?
Chapter was worth the wait, as always!

Ch9: Seems like Ryuu is stuck between killing his mate and killing his mate's other offspring. Not only that, Sesshoumaru won't let him harm Inuyasha. I'm actually surprised that the ice prince admitted to such weak emotions as loving his mate.
Well, wonders never seems to cease. Excellent work! Can't wait for the next chapter. Now, Ryuu is free, I know he's not going to let Inutaisho off the hook that easily. And it just way too easy for him to accept Inuyasha like that because he mated his only heir. No, I think he's going to be a little difficult.
