i forgot is this story like the greeks story about psyche and Eros (cupid). he hi his face from her to hide who he waas and after talking with her friends about it she decided to see his face.. in the middle of the night she lite a candle..of course he was mad and ran off.

Aya! PLEASE update this soon! I'm enthralled! Its so refreshing to read a well-written fic, and your writing style is excellent!
I also love this storyline--it reminds me of the ancient Greek myth of Eros and Psyche--she was so beautiful that she was compared to the goddess Aphrodite, and the goddess became jealous and sent her son Eros (aka Cupid) to kill her, but when he saw her, he accidentally grazed himself with one of his own arrows and fell in love with her. So instead he sent a decree that she was to be thrown off a cliff as a sacrafice to Aphrodite, but when they did, she was transported to a castle where invisible servants tended her. Then every night in the darkness, Eros would come to her and make love to her, but she was never allowed to see his face, because he told her if she did, they could never be together again. However, Psyche became curious and one night, after he fell asleep, she lit a candle to look at him, but when the wax dripped on his shoulder, he woke up and fled and left her alone. Then Aphrodite came and forced her to do three impossible tasks in order to stay with Eros, and various interesting things happened...in the end they ended up being together, which is a refreshing twist, since the Greeks did so love their tragedies!
I only hope this one turns similarly in the end! Keep up the great work! I was so excited when I saw you updated today, and I can't wait to read more!

wow. i wasn't too keen on the s/k when i first started reading fanfic last year, but i love it now.
i still like the inu/kag fics, but somehow, it just seems right to hae kags and sessho together.
i'm really enjoying this fic, and i can't wait for an update.
i really have no clue what the story is you keep hinting at and it's kinda driving me a little batty lol.

heya! I was given a rec to read Darkness over on A Spark. I'd lost interest in IY fanfiction a LONG time ago. While Sess/Kag was my fav pairing. HOLY HELL! I am stalking you now! I have started reading IY fics again thanx to that story. It was positively smokin! I haven't read a lemon that hot in quite awhile. I am glad that I found you here on AFF, and was posetively thrilled to see that you continued Darkness. Everything about this story is absolutely captivating. From the portrayal of the characters to the use of language, and the secrecy that surrounds him only adds to the whole romanticism of the story. I need to go look you up on FF.net so I can add you to my favorite authors.

Seriously can't wait for the next instalment of this story. I got inadvertantly hooked on it when I stumbled upon 'Darkness' and now I'm addicted. Your writing style is wonderful, it's not low level Mary Sue-ish writing and God knows I appreciate THAT in the fanfic business. Keep up the great, work, and I seriously can't wait for the rest. Also, just a little question, was this story inspired by that old myth about Cupid (Or Eros, depending on who you ask) and his wife? The parralels are mind boggling and since you said it was inspired by another story...Well, either way, it's wonderful. Hope you keep updating! ~Techie~
