Good chapter. I am interested to hear how Inuyasha is a dog hanyou, or at least resembles one. Also, how has Naraku managed to capture and hold a miko like Midoriko?

Interesting beginning to a story. Inuyasha's depression is palatable. The thought of Inuyasha fighting without his usual fire is somewhat saddening. I hope new chapters are on the horizon because there are many threads that need re-weaving (aka questions that need answers). Why does Inu think that Naraku is his father and Midoriko his mother? Why did Naraku leash Inu? Why does he keep Inu locked up the rest of the time? Are the rest of the group going to make appearaces?
