I started off quite well with some thought put into it. I've seen some stories that just rush through things, but you want to draw things out and develop a plot in order to have a great story. You are headed off into the right direction. Keep up the great work so far and update as much as possible.

dont expect many reviews from a first chapter like that, because that just leaves people haning, and you cant even really tell if it was really good, or just pretend good, because there isn't enough of the story yet. dont let lack of reviews stop you from continuing! i hope that you do continue, as your story shows some promise!:)
