Oh wow, what a fantastic chapter! Here's what I love most about it: I've encountered the story of 'Kagome-saves-Rin-Sesshoumaru-is-indebted-keeps-her' or whatever numerous times, but you've taken a tired concept and made it your own. In your scenario, not only does Kagome save Rin, more importantly she saves Jaken and does so with no appearance from Sesshoumaru whatsoever, which leaves her only motive that of selfless compassion. There are no heated glances or furtive actions to get in the way of her kindness nor the impression she must've made upon the imp. Rin already loved her, but Kagome no doubt touched Jaken in a more important way, because he now has true respect for a human. Having her leave before Sesshoumaru arrived was genious, because now he purposely sought her out, which places much more weight on his actions than if he simply ordered she tag along because of the work she'd done. There's great promise here with the depth of this pending relationship, because the initial feelings are more startling, probably unsettling, but tenderly real. I'm ultra-absorbed in this fic; I'm like a roll of fanfic paper towels! I can't wait to sop up more!

Good chapter, it's a good thing Kagome showed up with she did or there would have been Rin-kabobs with a side order of Jaken. I wonder how Sesshoumaru is going to react to Kagome helping them. And how Inuyasha is going to take Kagome sneaking off into the middle of the night. Can't wait to read more. Update soon please

Read all three chapters, it looks great. I like Sess/Kag pairings, just most of them are the same shit over and over again. It's nice to see a different plot used this time. Cant wait for more, please update soon.

I wonder what Sesshoumaru's reaction to what happened while he was away (under the effects of the curse) . I can't wait for the next chapter! Keep up the good work!
