WOW this is such a cool and original idea, I really love it, hope you update soon! I really liked how Kagome's dad made the shells, is that a key part to the plot, like the first shell being based on her or was it just meant to be funny, (just wondering if so is the first shell going to be kikyo or am I like waaaay of here? lol!)

I really like this story so far! I'd work on maybe not making it look like one big blob of words though. Separate the paragraphs with a space or something, cause usually stories that look like one big paragraph scare me away... haha. In this case it didn't, but whatever. Otherwise, it's an interesting idea! Can't wait for the next update! ^_^
