Lol nice chapter, funny how they get drunk. I like them sorta stories XD

I think this if is great as it is, you should not be concerned about what others think. I believe each one has his/her own way of vieweing the story and, furthermore, if a author gives a backgroung is something I always appreciate. It makes the fic more complex, and it encourages the readers to keep on reading the story.
Another thing you should not worry about is making peolple, especially Sesshoumaru, in character. You do it quite well. And, besides that, Sesshoumaru is a very complex character who, even in the anime, has his weird moments, as such when he admits he's afraid of full-demon Inuyasha, or gives the flowers that would save Jaken's life, after rescuing Rin. And, all of these moments he's treatening someone only because 'don't dare to kill Inuyasha, he's mine to kill' and all that.

I Agree with VenusOfHeaven. Sesshomaru is a very complex character (even though for the most part he's cold and indifferent, that only makes it more difficult to write what he's feeling inside or thinking about) and you, as I said, do him quite well.

I hope you don't let bad comments discourage you (those people have no idea what they are talking about and would not know good writing if it came up and kicked their ass!) and hopefully you'll update soon.

Hmmm. The story is progressing very nicely. I don't know why anyone else wouldn't like it. I mean it's really hard to find a story that actually gives any background without jumping into the whole mating thing. Also, I think by using the past events and flashbacks, you are actually building up a nice case as to why the two most unlikely characters would end up together. So, yeah I like the whole idea and please update when you can (hopefully soon). Bye!

Interesting chapter, I, as you, think that Inuyasha is not as dumb as he seems. Otherwise, no matter how strong he is, he would have got himself killed looooong ago. Sorry if the rewiew is too short.
