I think this is a very interesting beginning.
I love the last part. Perhaps Sesshoumaru didn't realise it, but, he was COMFORTING his brother, his very hated, very despicable half-breed half-brother.
And, he should believe it, it is a sign of concern about him, no matter what he tried to say himself.

Interesting and excellent start predicting excellent plot! So, I am really looking forward to the next chapters! I love the way you portrayed the characters so far and hope you will keep them like that and attune to the original characters from the anime & manga. Anyway, please update soon and often! oh, this is a pretty good fic! I hope you update it soon, though, cause it's got so many questions bubbling up in my mind-- like why would Inu Taisho as Sesshomaru to mate with his brother, when he could just have easily asked him to simply look after him or check in on him like he was doing.
I hope you reveal all in the next chapter, cause the not-knowing is gonna kill me, I swear!

there was potential there. It was a nice plot, but you were very broad with your characters. Maybe it would help if you found someone to edit your work. It was hasty written, so consider a beta.
