chpt 2 leave me with a very 3rd star wars movie feeling, when inuyasha waits to take over the land first before doing anything to kagome...he's willing to endanger himself to make sure she gets what's best for her.

You know it's such a great possibility that Inu would turn. Just goes to show that he didn't really love Kags the way he was. He still thought so low of himself and now that he's a full blood, any feelings but lust he has for her are or looks to be gone.

And...I'm obsessed. You've written this in a completely original and tortuously suspenseful way; I don't have any idea what to expect out of Inuyasha as he is now. Other fics I've read before have him going on a murderous rampage, but this is intriguing. He's neither completely blood-thirsty nor completely detached as Sesshoumaru is. There are still vague remnants of his old personality, but that in and of itself just makes the situation that much more perilous because we have no clue what he'll do next. He's as unpredictable as a hunting lion. Gasp and another gasp. I can't wait to read more of this fic. Brilliant first chapter; please keep it up!
