An interesting chapter, although I really missed interaction with Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha. Maybe Rin can redeem herself. I still say that the best girl name is Tsukiko because of Inuyasha's human nights and because of the crescent moon on Sesshoumaru's forehead. Actually, I think that it is also pretty.

Looked up some of the meanings for the meaningless names on your list. I honestly can't guarentee that these meanings are accurate, but I thought I'd at least try to help.

Kyo: large, approval, or ginger
Tomiko: child of wealth
Kiyoshi: means pure/purity (this one I'm pretty sure is right)
Yoshi:goodness, luck, free(can also supposedly be for a girl)
Shiro: fourth son (but as a color, white)
Yuri: Lily, (also can be for a girl, and I think this one is right too)
Keitaro: blessed
Shiori: Poem + weave (seriously doubt that one)
Yuiko: Bind + garment + child
