That last chapter (6) was terribly beautiful. I love how you've fleshed out Miroku, you have a great insight into the character.

I'm really looking forward to more.

I do hope this isn't the last chapter! I think you're protraying Miroku in a VERY realistic way which is awesome, but I want a happier/sappier ending! XP

Nicely written! I remember seeing your story nominated a while ago and meant to read it, but somehow lost track of it. I'm glad to have come across it tonight. I love your first six chapters and am eagerly awaiting your next! You have the characterizations down perfectly! Bravo!

OH! What a great chapter. The ending was a bit heartbreaking, but I'm confident you'll get them through it. I'm so glad you updated again. I was going through Miroku/Sango withdrawal, and this has to be my favorite continuation story of them. Beautiful job as always! And thanks so much for the update email. It took me awhile, but I managed to read it and I am not disappointed! *huggles*

Again, I have to say it's poetry. The way you've expressed Sango and especially Miroku's feelings, and especially in the last scene of chapter six, is so perfect and so well-written; it just flows so well, I don't know what to say. I'm glad it made the houshi think. You've also managed to avoid clichèes somehow, so kudos to you. It's one of the most if not THE most refreshing Inuyasha story I've read, not to mention Sango/Miroku story.
I wrote a better and more detailed review than this last month, but AdultFanfiction swallowed it up because it got to be too long. Apparently I shouldn't have used up all that space quoting my favourite part of chapter six. :)

Please continue.

"He’d thought foolishly that Sango’s coming to him, giving herself to him meant that she saw him as something more than himself. Always he’d seen an idealized version of himself in the reflection of her eyes. But that was a fanciful delusion on his part. Sango saw him with perfect clarity: not the man he wanted to be, but the man he was. And she’d just proved it. It was one thing to point out his very decadence in daily life, it was another after making love. Clearly the barriers were very much still between them. Even when he was in her he was “houshi-sama”. That bothered him so much he could scarcely swallow."

<--I don't even know what to say, almost, when reading that.

It's so beautiful and refreshing how you somehow manage to avoid all the clichés one might expect to pop up at every turn in a story such as this. You do a good job of building things up, showing his internal struggle in a way that's believable, making it seem as if Sango might be heading for heart-break but then suddenly turning around and shattering Miroku's delusions, shocking him. And you even managed to do it in such a way that it wasn't horribly predictable. I love this.

I have to say it again; you write SUCH a good Miroku, probably the best I've ever seen. This last chapter almost felt like poetry, and I found myself with just a tiny little tear in my eye. Thanks for sending me an email about your update. I'll be waiting for chapter seven.
