Ok so I'm guessing that the person from the past is Naraku.. and he messed her up and when she thought it couldnt get any worse she found out that he was cheating on her with kinky-ho who got violent with kagome as well?? I really have no idea but I like to know so I make up my own theorys :)

I really like your story. I think what you should do is the next day Kagome talks to Inuyasha's dad about Inuyasha not knowing the two realtionship. Then Inuyasha's dad talks to Inuyasha about Kagome. Just an idea
