The hell...? Inuyasha is *significantly* less powerful than Sesshoumaru in his hanyou form. EACH TIME Inuyasha has driven Sesshoumaru back (a grand total of three times in the beginning of the series), he used the Tessaiga while Sesshoumaru just had his teeth and claws, and never once after Sesshoumaru acquired Toukijin. Sesshoumaru also fended off Inuyasha when he transformed into a full demon effortlessly. AND Inuyasha's managed to dodge Sesshoumaru's attacks even fewer times than he's actually managed to strike him. Sesshoumaru could weild Sou'unga while it possessed Inuyasha, Inuyasha couldn't touch Toukijin while Sesshoumaru mastered it, etc. THEY ARE NOT EQUALS. Kouga and Inuyasha are rivals, Sesshoumaru is stronger, faster, tougher, and more agile than Inuyasha. And he's a far superior swordsman with centuries more of practice.

There's just no way merely transforming into a full youkai would enable him to beat Sesshoumaru, and I'm sick of seeing that tired plot device over and over again. And why exactly would Inuyasha be 3 or 4 times stronger than Sesshoumaru in his demon form? That doesn't make any sense at all.

From the first chap, I have been shivering. You have managed
to do something no one has even done to me with a Inu/Kag
story. Frightened me. I'm actually...wow. I can't describe it.
It's already so dark and disturbing. I'm a horror film fanatic &
this fic has shaken me up more than the last 20 movies I've
seen. WOW. Fucking bravo! I'm literally on the edge of my seat
and all tensed up. I don't know if I can even read anymore...

I think this plot rocks!!!!! How awesome to do a story with an adult Souta. An evil Inuyasha is always so interesting and fun. If Inuyasha has been evil all this time and just waiting for the jewel to be completed, then I would be one frightened Kagome. I'm sure Inuyasha's rage and anger could only have been intensified with all those sit commonds, lol. I can't wait to see just how dark things have become. You've done a magnificant job so far. Please continue.

I think it was a very good first chapter!, the concept of inuyasha really being the bad guy has been done BUT it is feasable, because what people love to forget is that he does have demon blood in him and has had a miserable life which can and does sometimes turn people evil or twisted so I think it's a very doable concept and I like how it's from Sota's prespective this is an underused charater so go for it. the writing was good.

Wow. Exceptionally interesting, and foreboding beginning. You've written this prelude in a very clever way, mixing perspectives enough to keep us on our toes. It surrounds the story with suspense, instantly setting the mood for the entire piece. I'm anxious to read more of this. Great work so far!
