A Cliffy!!!! I cant believe it, how cruel! Please update as soon as possible, this story is so cool!

i just noticed something. you started out with a lot of short flashbacks like kagome's life was all splintery and stuff. and now you got whole chapters of specific memories, but they build up the story instead of breaking it apart. is that intentional? cuz it kinda looks like eventually, something big is gonna happen that has something to do with all the memories put together. man, if that's it, i can't wait! thanks for putting me on update!

Yay, I'm glad I decided to check up on this story and I was pleased to see it had been updated! Excellent as always and I hope that there will be more updates soon! I've truly been enjoying this story!

This fic is something else entirely. I don't even know where to begin. It's not the story of romance in the traditional sense, but rather, the study of a life. Granted, each new chapter takes a different turn and focuses on one character or another in particular, but still each individual is given due course. The focus never shifts so quickly as to disorient the reader. Each word is deliberate and poignantly purposeful. It's strange how you've managed to infuse what is, in all techinicality, a historical epic with such deep intimacy. I think it's the perspectives you touch, writing from the inside out, that give it such tactile, almost ordinary grace. Blah, I don't know if I'm making any sense, but regardless I'm fascinated by this fic, by your deft use of words and by your keen awareness of each character's place in the layers of time and life. Please keep it up.

woot for the new chapter

I had some catching up to do! I was behind about five chapters. This new Sesshomaru is both mysterious and sensual, tinged in a dangerous warmth. He frightens me and excites me. I think I'm in love! haha! Poor Kagome. If she had any idea of what she was inviting into her life, would she run in fear or would she pull back the covers and ask him to join her? Hmmmm..... I suppose we shall have to wait and see. Looking into his background does allow me to better understand Inuyasha's reservations concerning Amaru's sudden interest in Kagome. His brother is a dangerous youkai in more ways than one. You are doing a wonderful job with this fic. I am very impressed. I found myself actually excited to click to the next chapter, as well as dreading the nearing end of the updates. Great job!

I started to read your story on Single Spark but since the site is down I started to look for it here. Very good story. One of my favorites.

I have to say that I normally stay away from stories that place Sesshoumaru in the modern era because they are usually just not good, only Res's Fugue has ever appealed to me ... BUT your story is wonderful, so now I have TWO favorite modern era fics that I love. Sesshoumaru here is a bit of a mystery much like he is in the Feudal Era. The flashback sequences that you use to show Sesshoumaru's progression in the past are perfectly placed and help gice us insight into his character. Kagome's flashbacks were a bit more shocking but yet when you start thinking about it you could think it plausible that she might of been thinking those things ... after all Kagome loves to give the benefit of the doubt and Sessy-Chan is and has always been hot so I do love How you re-wrote history at least in her thoughts on the situation ... Fabulous...

I loved the lastest chapter, very hot and all they did was kiss ... sigh ... Can't wait for more ... Now I am pressed for time and must dash, continue the great work!
