Holy crap, I love this story. I love how it's not bound by outlandish events, but centers on people and relationships that carry on outside the trappings of myth and grandeur. I love how delicately, intimately and thoroughly you handle each character's thoughts, reactions and transformations. I love the fact that this story obviously has a long way to go, and a lot more characters to explore. *Giant, umprompted squee session!* I utterly love and adore this fic!!!

I, for one, wouldn't mind the little bit of help you could offer. Even if it is only a small tidbit at the end of each chapter. I write my own fanfics, but have always been displeased with being incorrect about another culture, and the little help provided by you would be a small blessing. Just one other thing I could use to better my own skills.
As for your fic, I'm loving it. Well, both of them, really. I've been reading Kagome's Paths, too. I like that you follow your own plot, instead of everyone else's. There's only so many times you can read: "Kagome caught Inuyasha with Kikyo (or however you spell her name)" before you want to gag the repeat author with a spoon.
If there was an author voting place on AFF, I'd nominate you for it. Not only because you're a god author, but because you're not a copy-cat. Tanks for that, by the way. And update when you can.

Your story is really really good keep the updates comming. I think you should make it a Kagome/Hiei or a Kagome/Hiei/Kurama. But keep the chapters comming. Whoo-hoo

Have I reviewed this masterpiece yet? No? Really, then, I better start, because this fic is abso-freakin'-lutely amazing. It's not just that you've managed the impossible task of making me root for each and every male character existent in YYH to end up with Kagome, nor is it the haunting way you've built up her power without disclosing the events that brought her such control. Really, what impresses me most is the device you've crafted as a conhesive intro to each chapter. Your short character analyses, coupled with transitions into the current scenes, is nothing short of writing brilliance. Creating such a fascinating and immediately recognizable structure is something left to authors of published books. It draws the reader in by sheer word flow alone, then swings us right in the middle of a plot bursting with epic promise.
I, myself, am smitten with this fic.
I don't know if you have a particular couple in mind, if you're going to let each male have a chance, or if you're going to end the story with no couples (revolving around a theme transcendant of romance *though I don't want to know how that's possible. :p*), and frankly, that's not what makes me read. It could be a true Shakespearian tragedy and kill everyone off for a greater ideal for all I care. I just want to read more of this fic because the way you write is spellbinding.
In short, I can't wait to read more.
P.S. WTF?? How many languages are you proficient in, because your cadence and expressions are perfect. One thing about living in America is no real exposure to other languages. Ah well, glad you can effectively write what I can effectively read! ^_^

Just noticed that I *had* reviewed this before, but apparently I was smoking crack because my first review was stupid. Sometimes it's hard to convey exactly how much one loves a fic. So yeah, uh...I love it! Some more!

I really like this story alot. Can you please write some more chapters? Can the pairing be Hiei and Kagome or Hiei, Kagome, and Kurama please?

I'm so happy.
I had such a long and tiring day today and reading your story while curled up on my bed just put me at ease. That and made me incredibly giddy (and giddy is not a term that i associate myself with)
While reading your authors notes, i read that English isn't your first or second language. Despite that, your english is far better than many others i know of and it is their first language. Anyways, i was just curious and wanting to know what your second language is.
My first language isn't english either, but i feel that practice makes perfect and reading aloud helps me a lot. That and listening to music in English. I <3 my music. ^^
