This is a wonderfully written fic. I tend to skip author's notes, though I shouldn't. It appears that you have experience with this. I have, but the source was a different injury. I know what it's like to come to awareness in a place that is familiar, but you don't know why. Then you realize that the silence is wrong and it takes a while for you to figure out that there should be the sound of children. You run outside, your heart pounding a hundred miles a minute. You find one, then another, occassionally staring down out your fingers to count, desperately trying to remember how many there are because you are in the country with coyotes, and panthers and snakes, etc. You find them, but can't remember their names. And there seems to be one missing (the one you miscarried, but don't remember), so you're still afraid. Then slowly, it starts coming back and you just want to cry. I understand this. I understand not being able to say the right words, or the right words in the correct order, or even to get the words from your brain to your lips. This does bring back memories.

You've done an excellent job. Your pace isn't hurried and you take the time to explain and describe events, emotions and thoughts. Words don't come out of characters without an explanation.

I'm going to go back to reading this wonderful fic.

I know how annoying it is to see so many hits, and a sparse few reviews. So I thought it be fair I reviewed after eight chapters of reading :D Great story, dramatic, but not overly done, and highly tender. Great job and I can't wait to read the rest

I am so ashamed of myself... I hadn't reviewed this story in such a long time... Gomen nasi.... Well this is the sweetest chapter I have the pleasure to read.. Inuyasha Proposes to Kagome!! How sweet!!! I loved it!!! And the wedding was touching as well. I absolutely love your writing and as I had mentioned with the other story you should definitely get awards for your stories!!! I really am touched by how you master the worl of writing!!! I wonder when will Kikyou make another appearance? Or if Kikyou will finally pass on in peace? and Koga will he return and be a butt head again? I can't wait to read about the wedding!!!! chuckles.. I enjoyed how both girls were freaked out by Miroku's odd looks and goofy grin..... I thought Sango would have fainted in shock... Laughs.. or smack Miroku.. Wow!! This is great!!! Poor Inu he is sooooo going to suffer if Kagome chooses a Western style wedding!!! Inu in a Tux... LOL!!!! ... another thought the incident with Sesshoumaru and Rin.. will it have a hint of what is to come in later chapters with the realtions between the three.. referring to of course Inuyasha/Sesshoumaru - brother wise and Sesshoumaru/Kagome - respect and human/youkai wise? Will it also reflect in the future? Love the story!!! I can't wait!!! YOU TOTALLY ROCK!!!!!!

I'm glad to see you updated. You have been missed. Another nice chapter. I hadn't even noticed Inuyasha and Kagome hadn't had a human wedding. The way you've written this story, it just seemed so right and natural for them to be together. Poor Inuyahsa, having to propose twice before he got it right. I've got to say, you get the most interesting reviews and I'm really glad to see some of my favorite authors enjoying and reviewing your stories. Keep up the good work.

I just found this, and raced through it in a day (time that I honestly couldn't afford to spend at this time of year, but that's how it goes). Absolutely beautiful.... I always thought that Inu was a lot brighter than he let on, and that much of
his pissy attitude was a sort of defense mechanism. I'm glad that you chose to reconcile the brothers, as it always seemed to me that they were really a lot more alike than different, if only Sesshoumaru would lose a little of his own attitude. Some of my favorite bits--when Asami and Inu had their "moment," when she called him her son, Kouga finally getting pretty much what he had coming to him--gods, he's dense!--and, of course, the citrus, which was some of the most beautiful and touching I've ever read. Can't wait for the next part!

*squeals* ah school girl giddyness lol..well I dropped my computer and now i'm having to pound my space bar.. sigh but please update soon this is an awesome story one of my favs!!

The whole story was awsome,great and totaly wowed me. I hope there will be more added to the story. Maybe you could finish the story until it's done and add what happens next? For instence when will Kagome concive a child? Also when Miroku and Songo get married. Other than that the story was out of this world.
