I was sorry to hear you feel discouraged about lack of responses. Please don't be. I've thought the whole Inuyasha site has been in a slump recently. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know this is one of the best stories I've read. The plot is engrossing, your portrayal of the characters is beautifully done, and you know how to entertain your readers and keep them coming back for more. Like a previous poster, even when you haven't updated, I pull this story up to read. Please keep up the good work. You're one of my favorite authors.

I haven't been home in weeks because of Hurrican Katrina and am sitting in front of a computer to keep myself occupied. I read your fanfiction and its different to say the least. I thought I'ld only read a little to begin with and ended up reading everything you wrote. I find the last chapter a bit disturbing but It was something that I'm sure was not easy to write. It is part of the story so I'll contine to read when I have a chance. Now I'm dealing with Rita so Possibly will be losing power again. Don't feel bad about reviews there might be some in the same boat as me.

heyy there.. this story is freaking awesome.. ive been reading it since the beginning but ive never had the time to review.. cuz i normally get time on the computer right before work. and am always in a rush!.. today i woke up early! hehe so i jus wanted to let u kno that u are doing an excellent job.. I love how Inuyasha can understand Kagome and how hes acting nicer to her while still maintaining his character perfectly! :) :) I wonder what's happening with Sango, Miroku, and Shippo.. Shippo prolly misses kagome alot considering hes like her son.. I bet Kagome would remember him a lil bit as well.. Maybe Inu should find a way to bring shippo to Kagome.. like maybe Kagome has a dream where shes holding the lil fox kit.. and she says his name in her sleep.. so as a surprize Inu brings him? that'd be sooo awesome then the cute lil family would be back together again! hehe.. anyways plzzz keeep up the excellent work and i will try to review next chappy when ya get it up as well! :)

Thanks, I like angsty fics, especially in canon universe.
Inuyasha attitude change after this terrible tragedy is good portrayed and believable (just like after incident with Mukotsu poison gas).
Last chapter was very disturbing, I'm interested what happens next in this molester therapist case, Kag may have to make a testimony.

I'm with Kag's mom - why does everything have to happen to Kag. Your story is AWESOME, never thought non A/U Inu could be so sweet and Kag's mom, well she has to be something else, I mean who else would let their daughter run off to Feudal Japan. TGIF and have a great weekend :)

Damn!!! More excellent chapters!! The one one you had considered not as good was prefect I felt. . It gave the reader a chance to take in the story as it progresses without having too much at once. A kind of 'take a step back look at the work in progress' type of moment similiar to what I would do with my art projects. It is all stunningly brillant and honestly there ARE no words to describe this work. I just finished chapter seven and WOW!!!!! I mean HOLY MOTHER F*** KAMI WOW!!! You keep them in character so brillantly. I really enjoyed the touch with Kikyo. I feel the REAL Kikyou would have been like that telling Kagome it's Ok to be with Inuyasha. Have you seriously thought of being a author and publishing novels? Cause Lady Genius, I would buy your books without hesitation. Please keep this up.. I can't wait for the next chapter. I bow to you.

I am enjoying the story. I have it flagged in IE as a favorite and I check every day to see if it has been updated. I like the fluffiness of it.

I was glad you made Kagome scarred, thoguh then you wimped out with them being healed. It she has to be pretty on the outside its not love. I did wonder where the heck this hospital is that is took Mrs. Higurashi and Inuyasha a week to drive there.

You have every right to poke me with a cattle prod for not reviewing more often. I've been following this story from the beginning and I'm still very much enjoying it. Please keep posting and don't be discouraged by lazy people like me who enjoy the ride and then forget to pay the driver.
