I thought this was a wonderfully written story. I also think it works remarkably well as a one-shot. It gives an interesting view into Sesshoumaru's childhood, as well as his relationship with his father. As a matter of fact, I think you could do well at writing a great series of one shots of stories like this. ^^ I know I'd read them all. Anyway, thank you for writing this. Well done!

How cool...I kinda figured that there may be a tie between Midoriko and Rin. No matter how much Sesshomaru claims to detest humans, he does feel something. You are absolutely right regarding one point-we have no clue as to the nature of Sesshomaru's childhood...we meet his character as an adult. We also don't have the full details regarding his true relationship with Inuyasha other than his "feelings" about half-breeds. I enjoyed this and I'm looking forward to more if you plan to contiue this piece.

I love this story!!! I hope that you add more to it!!!! I very much like your vision of what Sesshoumaru was like as a child. And your picture is the cutest!!!! (I originally saw this story on deviantart along with the picture!)
All children are born innocent and trusting of the adults in their life. They only become cold, hard, cruel, heartless, evil, mean or otherwise twisted because of circumstances that life trusts them into. As parents we try to protect our children but even really good parents, like Inutaisho, can make mistakes and bad things then happen. After all if nothing happened to us, we would never learn anything, would we?
Please keep writing and ignore the ignorant people who can not open their minds to anything new!!!!

I can't believe someone flammed this story...I thought it was absolutely adorable and for being mainly a fluff chapter - it was rather well done. Personally I think a chibi sesshoumaru should always be cute and adorable...like any other little boy.
