Really wonderful story! I love the plot, it's ingenious. I noticed that you haven't updated in such a long time. Please, update as soon and often as you are able to, I am dieing to read more.

I really like this story, not many have ever dared to venture into the brothers' past, so I commend you for that. I loved Sesshomaru's thoughts in the 5th chapter, especially regarding the 'Prince Inuyasha or General Inuyasha' one. Hmm, General Inuyasha - that has such a nice ring to it.
Oh, there was one thing that caught my eye, but (I felt) that it could be re-worded if you wanted: //Still very young to comprehend and yet old enough to hate entirely.// I reread this a couple of times and figured it would sound better if the sentence said, "Old enough to comprehend and yet still young enough to hate entirely." UNLESS you meant //Still too young to comprehend, yet old enough to hate entirely.// Which then I think that's a perfect sentence lol I would explain why I think this but, I am probably boring you. lol
Oh, and a question: that smell that calmed Sesshomaru down so fast, was that Inuyasha? And why'd his mother gasp, did she also notice that scent or did she notice Sesshomaru's sudden change in emotions? Keep up the good work, I'll be looking for your next chapter!

... this fic is making me want to kick InuTaisho reeeally hard, and tell him how much of an utter IDIOT he is. *twitches madly* Must.. refrain... from pulverizing... everything... in the... vecinity... other than how irritated at InuTaisho this fic makes me, I really like it. ^_^
