The end 'she was born for me and i was born for her' is not love when he was told kikyo was still alive he stade with kagome he was conflicted but he allways loved her and she was the only one for him kikyo was the wrong life time that was why he loved her becase she was kagome wether any of them want to admit it or not she tide up the loos ends in modern time and left to go home to him. she calls his brother big brother. Her brother tells his friend that asks about his sister that she ran off to get married after graduating. He tells meroku wile thay are apart that she has pepole that love her as he dose maybe you don't mean the last episode maybe just dering the paus when the manga was still not done and they had nothing to work with i wached every episode and i was sick to my stuck when kikyo or koga came up but now as long as they dont interfere to much im ok but Inuyasha dose love kagome and would be with her
it was never love between inuyasha and kikyo they were both lonely and he had to be human and the jewel had to be gone he was a means of geting rid of the jewel and ending her duty he felt that he was bownd by honer to her he and his brother both have an all encompassing sense of honer sess would never harm a child and inu had his honer for what he feals is his falt that he faild in his protecting that is what tetsiga represents protection when sess wanted tet from thair dad thair dad replied who have you to protect inuyasha had kagome.kagome was the glue and he was the leader she was the spirit he was the strength with out her he would lose hart and with out him she would brake they need each other he would kill koga to keep keg neer him he gets upset about hojo becas she is his everything no mater what
please please don't focus too much on my last rant about the end of the Inuyasha series. First off, I know that the manga is different then the anime, however like I said at first this story was suppose to sorta fit in between 2 episodes...so I'm playing off the way the relationships are in the anime.
I said all that to say that had I watched the complete series before starting a fanfic, I probably would have written the story to go a little differently.
what really happened in the anime is not what really happened in the manga. since the manga came first, it is the only true story. the animation writers butchered yasha and kagome's relationship by adding misleading filler scenes and episodes while omitting important dialog and scenes. for example: in the episode after kikyo put him under a spell where she was going to drag him into the abyss while kagome was wrapped up in kik's shinidamachu and kagome snapped him out of it; he promised to protect kik and revenge her death. when the anime has yash sending kagome home saying he'd chosen kikyo and telling keade that he would even go to hell with her, that NEVER happened, it has kagome flash back to when he had asked her to stay by his side and she asked him if he had meant it if he promised to protect kikyo, he said he meant both (protect and revenge kik and to protect kagome and to have her stay by his side). there are less criticisms and sits, there are more affectionate moments between the two, less dealings with kikyo and not the same flashbacks in the manga. the anime puts more drama into the 'triangle' than truly happened and the english dub makes it worse. the english dub adds dialog where there is none, they change the content of the conversations, they mispronounce most of the character names and they use stupid translations for all of the attacks... at least in rurouni kenshin they use the original japanese attack names instead, i wish they did that for inuyasha...
oh, this was just the response to your a/n in the beginning of the first chapter, i shall read what's up now and review again. sorry about the rant, although i loved the anime (in japanese with subtitles) i am still a manga snob.
*humbly steps off soapbox* sorry.
thank you,
