When Sesshoumaru sliced InuYasha in the knee, I think you were referring to a part of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, during a part in which Kirk and McCoy were fighting this eight-foot-tall, blue-skinned, horned alien. Kirk kicks this guy in the knee, and he moans out in pain and keels over soon afterward. Evidently, he kicked him in his alien gonads.
