Omgeez...does that guy ever give it a rest? Sheesh! Kags and Hiei are my heros--them going through this and leaning on each other is so great, and the way they come together just makes me melt. Its the beauty within the beast of the situation. I can't wait to see that bastard finally eat dirt. Update when you can...oh, and that wolf bitch doesn't stand a chance. I somehow think that Kouga will protect her when the time comes. His spirit was still around, so hopefully something good will come of it.

Oh my goodness! This story is awesome!! How do you do it? You somehow managed to make this story painful and heartwrenching, but at the same time cute and...well kind of sweet. I'm so happy for Kagome and Hiei! Although that Masazaku guy could use a major attitude adjustment. I am so ready for him to get a healthy taste of his own medicine. (Twirls tomahawk in the air) Tell Hiei to let me get a couple of blows in before he kills him. (grin)

I really adore this story and thoroughly enjoyed the new chapter. Keep up the good work everyone's very pleased with it.

Oh, ok! Thanks for answering my numerous questions and also for clearing that up. I thought that males were fertile from the time they hit puberty (guess you learn something new everyday). I was just so annoyed (it wasn't you). Some authors constantly use terminology that I thought was wrong.

In any case, these past few chapters were pretty good. I don't like Aiko. I know that she wants revenge, but she knows nothing about the situation, and if her attitude is anything to go by, she doesn't WANT to. I really hope that this gets cleared up soon. I'd hate to have a confrontation that ended in bloodshed (though a confrontation itself is fin ^_^).

Ryuji will get what's coming to him too right? Both he and Masakazu should rot. >< So mean... But I wonder what happened to the skeleton? Hmm... Are you going to have him show up again? And if you do, will it be as a double/another Ryuji? *wonders*

Well, at least Kagome and Hiei have gotten their feelings (somewhat) straight. I'm glad about that. ^_^ Just don't hurt them too much? Please? Their lives are crappy enough. Poor things...

Great chapter. I just hope that there will happen something like the wolf bitch shows up and the crow can´t lay his filthy hands on Hiei again. Maybe the crow can torture the bitch, she would deserve it. I can´t believe that Kouga had her as a mate, why did he mate this cruel and jelous bitch?

The story is awesome. And for the review commenting on Hiei going in heat. Let me remind you that this is FANFICTION. Okay buddy, youkai don't really exist so who the hell are you to say whether or not the males don't have a cycle in life such as going in heat? I see nothing wrong when authors do this. I've yet to see any anime where youkai actually mark their mates but some authors add that. Thats all good, its what they want in their story. What kind of person would nit-pick over something so stupid. And let me point this out, males are not fertile 100% of the time. Go tell that to my ex!

For example, drinking heavily or some activities can kill a man's sperm, like wearing jeans too tight. For all you know Hiei's nutts might not produce sperm until he goes into heat. I think using the term going into heat is alot better than saying Hiei entered a stage where he's really fucking horny. I think the detail and explaining Ryu need was exceptionally well done. If you are going to bitch find something valid before you open your trap.

I know you didn't just leave that evil ass cliffie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How dare you?!!! What's up with that? No more Hiei cookies for yous. *Shakes head* You're lucky I lubs you or I'd be throwing Jaken nuggets at you right now. I'll forgive you cause I just know you'll be updating again some time this week. Or I won't let you rest till you do. The above review is correct! I'll be nicer about it though. It is all fanfiction and I use it also. Ryu did a wonderful job of explaining the sitch. As far as the comment about it being more possible but at the same time impossible for Kagome to go into heat. But only if she were an animal. Let me point this out, if we wanted to be technical humans do. Sure we don't bleed out the snatch during but in general it is when an animal becomes fertile, the females body prepares itself for impregnation, all that good stuff. If I'm not mistaken, I am a female after all, but there is a time of the month were the female body changes. The walls of her uterus thickens leading to the egg dropping. Which in case the woman is becoming fertile, should we say then that the woman is coming in heat? Sure most do this every month unlike animals who have larger time spans in between or specific times when it happens. We have our fertile cycles just like animals, so I'd say it is possible and realistic when authors say Kagome or any other female is in heat.

Other than that Ryu is doing a wonderful job with the story. Atleast she went into detail explaining things, unlike some that put them in heat and have the guy walking around saying "let's fuck, let's fuck". That said keep up the good work and we love you! *Blows Kiss*

Chapter 14: I liked this chapter, as well as the reat of the story (as depressing as it is at times). Hopefully Kagome won't be completely broken once this story is over. You'll have her heal at least enough to normally function, right? Well, on one hand, I hope you have both Kagome and Hiei healed, but on the other, I don't think it should be an entirely happy ending. That'd be too far from the original plot. Dunno... either way, good chapter!

Oh, one thing. I have a question. Why is it that authors (it's not only you) have a good story then you come up with something like 'Hiei'/'Inuyasha'/'Sesshomaru' going into heat? You DO know male animals don't go into heat (going into heat means you're fertile - males are ALWAYS fertile (unless born otherwise)). I know it may work with the story, but it doesn't make sense. It'd make more sense to have Kagome herself go into heat (though that's more possible, yet at the same time, impossible). Well, if she were an animal... I was just wondering why people always do that.
