I just wanted to say that I am REALLY enjoying how this is turning out. I am very glad that you are still at it even though life isn't cooperating with you. Damn those bill collectors! I hope you get over your pnemonia and heal well (nasty stuff that it for sure). I wiggle in my computer chair awaiting your further posts ;)

Plainly Tessaiga was just a pretext. Sessoumaru was actually trying to kill Inuyasha to avoid the "talk". That's why he started coming round more once Inuyasha was traveling with Kagome. It does seem strange to me that Sesshoumaru's honor requires him to give the talk but that it is OK to Kill Inuyasha first. Or is he going to deal the mortal blow and then give Inuyasha the speed talk as Inuyasha dies? That must be it. That whole episode with the bandit chief who was a moth guy, Sessoumaru couldn't kill Inuyasha after because even if Inuyasha received the speed talk he wouldn't comprehend it.
