Not bad, but I have to note, just because it irks me-- human women do not experience "heat." We do not have a seasonal reproductive cycle--it's lunar and damn near constant and therefore there's no big to-do about alerting to the world to it. And even if they did, menses would not be the most auspicious time. The blood is the reproductive system's downtime--a woman is at her least fertile. If something was going to get Inu wound up, it would likely be ovulation not the menses. Just a nit to pick. It's fanfic though, so I guess it's not especially important, but to those who know, such a glaring inconsistency puts one off the story . . . But it is not badly written! I can say that. The style is good. Cheers.
